Graduate Academics

Graduate studies are designed to be flexible enough to accommodate students with varied backgrounds and to promote an interest in theoretical and applied research while preparing the student for a career in industry, government or academia.

Admission into the Graduate Program in Biomedical Engineering is based on the following MINIMUM scores:

     GPA greater than or equal to 3.00
     GRE General Test is required for all applicants
     TOEFL greater than or equal to 590 (for International students only)

Graduate assistantships are available on a competitive basis. The deadline for receipt of assistantship applications is March 15 for Fall admission and three letters of recommendation are required.
